HOW TO SUBMIT TO OUR DIGITAL ARCHIVE

• Submissions Accepted:

  • Photos and videos are accepted. Please submit all videos to our email: hello@blackgirlsdotheater.com

• Submission Criteria

  • Please don’t alter the image in any way, shape, or form.

  • Written submissions (poetry, script excerpts, stories of particular experiences) accepted as well! No bios, please!

  • Please note: This is not a casting project — we are not accepting resumes!

• Please Include:

  • Names: Your name and, if possible, the names of individuals in the photos or videos.

  • Location and Date: Where and when the photos/videos were taken.

• We want to hear about the younger you, they who launched you into your love for theater! Remember, your truth is safe with us!

• How has theater prepared you for adulthood?

Notes On Usage:

Participants retain the rights to their images. If Black Girls Do Theater or any of its subsidiaries wish to use, replicate, showcase, or utilize the materials outside of the agreed terms, a BGDT representative will contact the submitter. By submitting, you grant Black Girls Do Theater a license to use your photo within the scope of social media usage, with proper credit given. This license can be revoked by the owner (submitter) at any time.
